The organization of distance learning on the Internet involves a combination of contact with the teacher and independent study of the curriculum. In the case of distance learning, students are given up to 90 per cent of the time to study the discipline provided for in the curriculum of the basic educational program of higher education.
Contact work, or simply speaking, communication with a teacher of the University, is carried out through online classes (lectures and practical exercises), conducted in the form of a webinar, where the student has the opportunity to ask questions to the teacher and get answers to them immediately after the webinar or later - in the form of a written answer at the forum of the discipline. Another form of interaction with the teacher is carried out at any time convenient for the student in offline mode and is realized through communication with the teacher at the forum of discipline or through the option «exchange of messages». Forum messages are available to all students who are studying this discipline in a specific period, as well as to the teacher. The student passes the session in ESPO (on the Internet), with tests and examinations conducted in the form of testing. The only exception is the State Final Certification (State Exam or Defense of Final Qualification Work), which is carried out directly in the University building.
When preparing for the exams and exams, as well as when writing theses or term papers, the student can use the services of the electronic library of the university and e-ESP resources in all subjects.
Tests for disciplines are relatively complex, of different types. Test tasks are compiled according to electronic training materials. Depending on the type, a choice of one of the suggested options or a detailed answer may be required. Students pass intermediate and final tests. If the student during the semester studied conscientiously and successfully passed all the intermediate tests, on the exam he gets a satisfactory rating automatically. For high grades must pass final tests. Verification of the correct answers to the tests and test results is carried out automatically in the EDMS and provided to the student immediately after the end of the test.

The evaluation criteria are reflected in the introductory lecture of the discipline and the section «Standard criteria for the final assessment of all disciplines».
